ASUU: Reason Why ASUU is Prolonging Strike

ASUU said according to their analysis, 90% of Nigeria students are not ready to resume classes. Could this be true, lets talk on this.

After a strike that has lasted for over full academic session, ASUU in one of their statements has said that they know that 90% of Nigeria students are not ready to resume school. the strike which started fully on February 14, 2022 which is now 7months and yet no signs of the strike being cutoff any time soon as at when this post was published.

It is clear ASUU and the FG does not have this the interest of the Nigerian Students at heart. But who could we blame for the long lasting strike ASUU or FG and could it really be true Nigeria students are not ready to resume ?. We spoke to some federal university students and most of them has moved on with their life and don’t even care if ASUU call off the strike or not, some said their are learning conventional skills, others already earning money from their skills like those who went ahead to learn hair dressing, Nail fixing, makeup, shoemaking and others. To some students, this strike is helping them acquire skills and to others the strike is making them not to focus on other things and move on with their Life as school is holding them down.
