Willie Spence, American Idol star has died after been involved in a fatal car accident in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Atlanta based Singer and star who died on Tuesday, had performed amazing renditions of “The circle of life” and “Georgia on my mind” was made a runner up in the iconic show musical show, American Idol. He had finished as runner-up to Chayce Beckham in the show’s 19th season.
His death was announced in a social media post on Wednesday which said,
“We are devastated about the passing of our beloved American idol family member, Willie Spence. He was a true talent who lit up every room he entered and he will be deeply missed. We send our condolences to his loved ones”
Spence was driving an SUV when he went off the road and crashed into a car who was stopped by the side, accident reports says. TMZ also reported a family member confirmed that Spence had died after the crash.
