Flooding has occurred in about 25 states amongst which are Kebbi, Anambra, Adamawa, Delta, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Benue are some states hit severely by the water allegedly released from Cameroon’s dam. The inhabitants of these states have all sacrificed some things, some their farm produce, their houses and some even have lost their lives. The government of the states are doing their best to evacuate and place the affected persons in various safe camps.
As we hope for more news on the flooding, Lagos state has been issued a warning signal as the Oyan dam has been released. Some areas were listed as possibly vulnerable areas and the residents are informed to prepare for the best and the worst and to relocate their prized resources and loved ones so to prevent future calamites.
