Ifeanyi Adeleke, the 3-year-old son of Davido and Chioma has allegedly died after drowning in a swimming pool. Although not much is known about the incident as there has been reportedly no formal press release, but there have been so many speculations and reactions on social media pages to depict that Ifeanyi has died.
Emotions are certainly high as Netizens cry out at the alleged news of the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke. Several posts and releases by blogs and press organizations implied that Ifeanyi who had enjoyed a superabundant and lavish birthday bash party last week was found drowning in the swimming pool at the singer’s mansion. A video circulating the internet showed Davido holding onto Ifeanyi in a swimming pool speaking to him and Ifeanyi wiping water from his face, he seemed perfectly okay in the video but we do not know what occurred after which led to the incident. He was allegedly rushed to the hospital but efforts to resuscitate him proved abortive and he was proclaimed dead. Reactions following on social media platforms showed disbelief and sadness as many do not believe Ifeanyi was left all by himself unattended to which might have eventually led to his drowning.
We can only hold on to the sliver of hope that Ifeanyi is still alive despite rumors and proclamations as Davido and Chioma Rowland, parents of Ifeanyi are yet to make an official statement confirming his death. Although several other celebrities have taken to their social media handles to drop hints which confirmed the death. Comedian and actor, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY posted on his Instagram around the wee hours of Tuesday morning:
“The death of a child is unnatural, unfair and tragic. This hits me so bad”
His death is coming after his three years old birthday celebration. Born on October 20th, 2019 to Davido and Chioma Rowland who were both in an on-and-off relationship up until recently where the duo, friends and family had dropped hints of tying the knot next year. We hope Ifeanyi is in a better place if he’s truly dead, most netizens are still hooked up in disbelief at the sad and unfortunate incident. He was only three years old. No parent deserves to witness the death of their children, let’s say a word of prayer for baby Ifeanyi.
