Enugu 23 Years Old Native Doctor Shoots Client Dead While Testing Bullet Proof Charm

Odoh Emmanuel, a native doctor, was detained by the police after shooting and killing his client Onunze Benedict in Enugu State while attempting to test the supposedly constructed charms for repelling bullets.

In Umuaram Village, Ikem Community, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, Enugu State, the incident took place.

Odoh decided to test the charm’s effectiveness on his client, who died quickly after being shot. The victim, who was from Eha-Amufu, reportedly sought the 23-year-old local doctor to construct the charm for him.

According to the State Police spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the incident, Odoh Emmanuel, a male native doctor, age 23, of Umuaram Village in Ikem Community of Isi-Uzo LGA, was arrested for shooting and killing his adult male client, one Onunze Benedict, of Eha-Amufu Community in the same LGA.

“Preliminary inquiry revealed that the suspect admitted to having shot and killed the deceased in his shrine at the specified site while trying the gunfire protection charm he had built for him using a locally made single-barreled revolver. The gun has been found, and the State CID Enugu’s Homicide Section is still conducting its investigation.

Ndukwe added that the police officers in the state also detained sixteen other criminal suspects, one of them was a woman, for alleged involvement in a plot, armed robbery, truck snatching, kidnapping, and unauthorized possession of firearms.
