According to reports, Godstime Oke, a young guy, killed Gaga Allia, his roommate, and friend, over N300 electricity bill in Okumagba layout, Warri, Delta State.
According to reports, Godstime Oke and Gaga Allia got into a confrontation after the 2022 FIFA World Cup match on December 14 at around 10 p.m., during which Godstime is accused of stabbing Gaga in the neck with a broken bottle.
Godstime is said to have fled the scene of the crime and was last seen in the Warri neighborhood of Ugborikoko. On Thursday, he was apprehended and turned over to the Nigerian Police Force’s “B” Division.
In a video, Godstime Oke claimed that because their area had a lighting issue, he was in charge of raising money for their property.He claimed the altercation started because Gaga refused to return N300 that a renter had given him while he was away.
He claimed that during the altercation between the two of them, his friend Tega, who was nearby, broke a bottle and gave it to him, which he then used to stab Gaga Allia to death.At the time this story was submitted, Tega, the suspected accomplice, was still being sought after.
