After withdrawing from a boxing battle in the first round, Ryan Taylor, the fiancé of well-known radio jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has generated uproar.
At the OVO Arena in Wembley, the YouTube star and Brandon Scott, aka Swarmz, squared off.
Taylor, 29, was unable to continue after Swarmz’s initial punch caused severe edema a few minutes into the first round.
After the battle, Taylor’s eye started to swell up significantly, leading many to believe he had fractured his orbital bone.
After the fight, the amateur boxer said on his Instagram account that the hit caused him to lose his vision right away, which led him to decide to give up.
“The glove fucked caught my eyeball. I’m blind as shit. Mad…,” he wrote, adding an emoji for laughter.
