In connection with fake new naira notes, the Kebbi State Police Command has detained three people.
According to Ahmed Magaji Kotangora, the Commissioner of Police, the group was apprehended with notes worth N17 million.
They are Salisu Mohammed, Ibrahim Musa, and Faruku Zubair from the Ngaski Local Government Area’s Gungun Tawaye and Chupamini villages.
Kotangora revealed that the suspects were detained in Warrah Motor Park, which is also located in Ngaski LGA.
Members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) assisted the police officers assigned to Warrah Police Station.
The CP said the investigation was finished and that the guys would be charged and prosecuted in court.
