In a letter sent to the Senate on Wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari requested that the honorable body approve a new loan request for $800 million.
President Buhari stated that the loan would be obtained from the World Bank in a letter read by the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan, and that it would be used to expand the National Social Safety Net Program.
